The House
Old Lake House Charm, Modern Comforts
Duck Cove pairs vintage lake house style with the conveniences guests expect today. The house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and sleeps 12, with original solid wood moldings, collected vintage finds, crisp white linens, gigabit WiFi and a kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Outside, a flat double lot built for yard games runs down to a private boat dock, with parking for boats, trailers and several cars.

The vintage side
It Started With a Few Carved Ducks
The whole look of Duck Cove started with a handful of carved wooden ducks found at Canton First Monday, which gave the house both its design and its name. The original solid wood moldings run throughout, set off by deep, moody colors, and the rooms are filled with treasures found over years of trade days weekends: carved ducks, original art and woven baskets from the 1950s.
The modern side
None of that character comes at the cost of comfort. Beds are dressed in luxurious white linens, the WiFi is a gigabit connection fast enough for video calls and streaming on every screen, and the kitchen has stainless steel appliances with room for a group to cook together. The coffee comes from a Moccamaster, which coffee people will recognize as a very good sign.
Room to play
Built for Yard Games and Long Afternoons
Duck Cove sits on a flat double lot, which means real space for cornhole, ladder ball and whatever game your family takes far too seriously . Afternoons bring games on the lawn or around the table, evenings bring cocktails on the deck at sunset, and mornings start with coffee by the water.
In summer, the protected cove is a calm spot to swim, and kids can fish right off the dock.
